GSO(Ce) Scintillator Crystal
Gadolinium Orthosilicate - Gd₂SiO₅(Ce) is an effective all-round gamma-ray absorber. It is referred to both as GSO and GSO(Ce), it is only available with Ce doping.
GSO scintillator crystals have:
- Mechanically robust characteristics and are non-hygroscopic
- Good energy resolution up to 150°C
- Good radiation hardness
- No intrinsic radiation background
